We were designed for the deepest, most intimate relationship in all creation, with our Maker; Children indwelled with His Spirit. His presence with us but more fully His presence in us. We see in Genesis 1 and 2 the most remarkable imagery for intimacy with Jesus. Think about it: The Creator and King of the Universe at our creation stooped down close and intimately breathed life into Adam. He came and walked with His children in the cool of the evening. It was in this relationship both Adam and Eve were to share a beautiful life in the Presence of their Maker. In their rebellion intimacy was broken and with it that source of joyful life with Him.
