About the event

We live in a time like no other. Technology has increased the speed of life, it seems. There are so many competing voices, ideologies, and worldviews all competing for our attention and devotion. Even in some places within the Church there are competing views all the way to the influence of the relativism embraced by the world. How does a Jesus follower navigate through the minefield of thoughts, causes, and influence bombarding us from the world around us? We must be more Biblically literate having the proper framework to discern truth.

We will discuss the following:

- The Social Justice movement and its history, Critical Theory’s influence on the movement, and its influence in the world and the Church. Is Social Justice and Biblical Justice the same thing? Is social justice God, or man, or something else?

- Christian Nationalism, is it God or man? Is it a trap, or is it righteousness at work in our nation, or perhaps somewhere in the middle?

What is going on? What is God? What is our enemy? What is man? How do we let the light of Christ shine in the midst of this age? What is our greatest weapon against darkness and why are we not seeing the breakthrough that brings Awakening?

This will not be a lecture. It will be highly conversational as we walk through these topics with the goal of hearing God and gaining His wisdom, so we might be the Light and Salt the world desperately needs.

** While this is open to everyone, if you are a pastor or leader in a local church or ministry, we would especially like to encourage you to join us.

Phill is the founder and director of KC. He has nearly 40 years of ministry experience as a leader locally and nationally. He has spent over 30 years studying these topics and having conversation with leaders of varying views. His passion for history and for God’s truth set him on a course of study, prayer, and countless conversations around these topics since the late 1980s and what they may mean in eschatological (end times) terms. He would humbly say he doesn’t have all the answers, but he is trying to ask the right questions. Join him in this open forum to wrestle through these incredibly important issues.
